Branch Events
Membership Welcome…
Held in September each year, the Kickoff showcases branch projects and interest groups, provides updates on state and association news, introduces officers and guests, and welcomes new and returning members to the coming year’s activities.
Educational Foundation Luncheon…
This event is often a highlight of the year, especially when our speaker is an EF graduate “fellow” with a vivid description of the research in which she is engaged.
Legal Advocacy Fund events…
Members may meet a current LAF plaintiff speaking about her academic discrimination case which AAUW is supporting; other meetings may provide an update on overall issues and developments in this important AAUW area of concern.
Other Branch Programs…

These diverse programs serve a goal of lifelong education with a stimulating mix of intellectual, cultural, societal and other topics.
The Branch collaborates with like-minded groups in our local area, especially to co-sponsor events such as public policy education. |
