Scholarships

On March 25, 2009, our branch joined with Peralta Colleges Foundation to administer our new local scholarship program to benefit women students at Laney and Merritt Colleges.

For the upcoming scholarship cycle (Fall 2010/Spring 2011) applications are due by November 5, 2010, for scholarships to be awarded December 10, 2010.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS:   Please read both of the above documents carefully and complete the application in full.  If you move out of Oakland or Piedmont, you will become ineligible for the scholarship.   If you move, please make sure that you notify the Peralta Colleges Foundation office at the address shown on the application form.  

This program was adopted at the January 10 General Membership Meeting; congratulations to all branch members for making our mission a reality in Oakland-Piedmont.
