Scholarships

On March 25, 2009, our branch joined with Peralta Colleges Foundation to administer our local scholarship program to benefit women students at Laney and Merritt Colleges.   

This program was adopted at the January 10 General Membership Meeting; congratulations to all branch members for making our mission a reality in Oakland-Piedmont. 

In November 2011, the branch voted to continue the scholarship program for calendar year 2012 with one $500 scholarship to a Merritt College woman student and one $500 scholarship to a Laney College woman student.   Please contact Peralta Colleges Foundation for more information.  .
